DESCRIPTION:When: Saturday\, 20 June 10:35 congregate / 10:50 departure /11:45 guided tour\nWhere: Congregate – Orchards Park\, WEST parking lot on NE John Deshields Blvd\, Bentonville.\nDeparture – Short “Parade” to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Parking garage. \nWhat: We will make a short “parade” loop from the Orchards Park lot\, down the Crystal Bridges entry road\, past the Museum entrance\, thru the close-in parking ramp and back into the remote parking garage\, probably parking on the second level. \nWe then take a shuttle(s) from the garage to the Museum entrance and regroup in the main lobby. Should have time for a biobreak and maybe cup of coffee. \nAt 11:40 we need to regather in the southwest corner of the lobby for the 11:45 Big Picture\, guided tour. The guided\, Big Picture Tour provides an overview of the Museum that will include the 100\,000 sq ft expanded gallery and public spaces. DESCRIPTION:When: 10:30 departure sharp / 12:00 lunch \nWhere:\nStart – Gravette Hub Parking. 106 1 st Ave NE Gravette\, AR (west side of Rt 59 north of intersection with Rt 72)\nLunch – Langman Winery & /Restaurant. 11507 AR 72\, Centerton AR \nWhat: A ~65 mile / ~1.25 hr. run thru western Benton County and southern McDonald\nCounty\, with a from-the-menu lunch at Langman with wine tasting optional. \n\nPlease SIGN UP by May 27th EOD using the RSVP Form below.\nThis provides a head count and time to make the restaurant reservation.\nDrive will be at speed limit (well maybe a little over on the 30mph roads) to\nmaximum 55mph. There will be about 15 miles of state routes 59\, 71and 72\nwhere 50+mph will be required.\nIf you need a biobreak or fill-up there is a 66 Station on the northeast corner\nof the 59/72 intersection (south) or a Casey’s on Rt 59 south of the\nintersection with 72. There are not really any options on the initial drive after\nGravette.\nLangman’s is a newer addition to western Benton County dining. It is located\non Rt 72 about 4.5 miles south of Hiwasse. The Langmans live in Centerton\nafter relocating from Chicago. They maintain a 33-acre vineyard and winery\nin Somerset CA’s Fair Play Loop. Here in AR\, a tasting room and a small\nrestaurant serve their estate wines. The menu is not extensive but excellent\nquality. It can be reviewed online. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.\nWe will have to see what the weather allows.\nIf the Drive is not of interest\, consider meeting us at Langman. But\, also\nsign up on the website and then let Marcy know you are dining only.\n\nAfter lunch you will make your own way home. Going back north on Rt 72 will provide\naccess to Bella Vista and to I-49. Take Exit 98 the Lancashire Blvd / Rt 340 exit off Rt 71 in Bella Vista.  Turn right onto Lancashire then the Harps parking lot is a quick left turn at Arvest Bank.  We will gather in the upper lot on the east side.\nMuch as we do for The Show\, we will have TWO drive routes. You can make your Group selection when we form up at Harps.\n               Group BRITISH will take a ~35-mile route. (Lee Cowling will lead)\n               Group IRON will take a longer route. SUMMARY:Drive to U.S. Marshal's Museum\, Fort Smith
DESCRIPTION:Our plans for a drive Saturday have changed.  We will now be traveling to Ft. Smith and the U.S. Marshal’s Museum instead of Oark. \nArrive at the Holiday Inn convention center parking lot at the corner of 412 and 48th St. in Springdale WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am departure. \nThe chance for some rain at this moment is 30% to 40%. If you are worried about driving your British car in the rain\, just bring your daily driver. I may be leading in my White F-150. \nHere are turn-by-turn directions to our first stop in Ft. Smith at the Bricktown Brewery for lunch. \nThe Museum is only about six blocks away from the Brewery. After touring the Museum\, we will reverse course back home. If you prefer\, you can just take I-40 & I-49 back home. \nThis should be a fun and interesting trip that we should all enjoy and have a good time together. This rout is designed so that we don’t have to drive on the Interstate highways. We will be going Standard highway speeds (60 – 70 MPH). I anticipate two hours to Ft. Smith an hour and a half for lunch\, two hours at the Museum and two hours driving back home arriving about 5:30 ish.
